i thot i might go on blogskins to get some motivation, and this blogskin is the epitome of CUTE.
:) no, im not addicted to teeth cartoons (what with my msn dp as a sad tooth)
but they are very cute!if only real teeth have 30% of their cuteness....
but actually, baby teeth are kinda cute(ones that rnt decayed-.-) but yeh...
anyway, talking about baby/primary teeth..all i've been doing on my patients are primary restorations...... -____-"
not that i'm complaining, but i think i have lots of practise with class 1 restorations already!i've completed 5patients to date, and i've done 4 GIC fillings, all class1s..bleh...am waiting for more challenging stuff, some of my classmates have done pulpotomies and even extractions! and here's wen who somehow always gets the patients with quite good teeth and oral hygiene...but i'm seeing a new one on the coming up wednesday, and altho this sounds very bad/mean -__-, hopefully he/she has something more challenging for me to do!
i think we're pretty confident with patients already, i remember my first filling on a real patient took almost half an hour! that's pretty long considering i was using GIC(most managable material for filling teeth) and plus its a class 1..
but anyway enough bout teeth. i'm seriously considering going to the UK after i graduate, pay for dental hygienists are like twice-thrice as much as in aust! but living expenses are very high too :( but i don't want to stay in sydney or singapore for the rest of my life......
i would stay in sydney tho, if i make it to post graduate dentistry, but the chances are like 1 in a thousand since so many people are applying for it :(

bleagh. sometimes i think i should shoot myself for not trying harder at the interview at uni. Adelaide...that's only five years.. i still have 1.5years to go on this course, and postgrad-dent's gna be anthr 4yrs..and the annoying thing is they won't acknowledge what we've learnt in the course(which is pretty much what the bdents learn anyway we have the same lects and stuff) so we have to go thru all those again!
gaynessssssss anyway...enough ranting about boring stuff no one wants to know,
xiaoling came to sydney last wensday+thurs! i only got to spend thurs arvo with her cos i had uni that i cant pon as it's clinic..but anyway, she shops too much (very jealous) and she doesnt really like

but yeh, spent some time just talking about stuff and laughing at each other's stories..she's gna be going to japan.i think that's really cool how she spends the first two years learning her course in english, but the later 2 years have to be done in japanese!she's gna be fluent in japanese and wear kimonos and take fotos
